Studio Central Bulletin – December 1-11, 2015

Currently on display in the Cafe Gallery is the work of Yekatrina Kaplun. Kate’s work is in acrylic painting, mixed-media, collage, and recycled materials building texture, which she sees as crucial. “I invent, based on what I see in nature: birds’ wings, natural bridges, and generic faces,” she muses. An artist talk will be scheduled for early January.

On December 4, for First Friday’s in the Exchange will be exhibition of Woodland Spirits: recent works by Hildi Janzen, Tricia Young, and Corrine M Danard. It runs from December 4 – 19, 2015 and the hours: tue – fri 12 – 5PM | sat 12 – 3PM. Please join us for the reception on December 4, 2015, 5 – 9PM.

Studio Central’s House Band the Harmony Workshop will be performing for a Sunday Brunch on December 5, 2015 at the Sunshine House (646 Logan Avenue). The Brunch costs $2 and starts at 11:00 a.m.

A Volunteer Appreciation and Holiday Party will be held on December 18th from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. at Studio Central. Please come to our holiday party and enjoy the festivities.
