“Breaking Barriers”, a photography exhibition on immigrant and refugee perceptions on mental health is opening tonight at Studio Central, 4pm until 6pm. The exhibit runs until May 13th.

“Fly a Kite for Mental Health”: a community event to raise awareness about suicide and mental health issues. The Psych-Nursing Faculty at the University of Brandon teamed up with Studio Central participants, who designed custom paper kites to be auctioned off at the event. All proceeds will go to Partners for Mental Health. The festivities will be held from 12:30 – 4:30pm at Kildonan Park in Winnipeg MB. Come enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment, refreshment stands, face painting and of course kite flying!
