Studio Central will be hosting its annual Gingerbread Workshop on December 19th from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Space is limited to 20 participants so please make sure to register early! To register call 204- 943-8290.
Woodland Spirits: recent works by Hildi Janzen, Tricia Young, and Corrine M Danard. is currently on display at Artbeat Studio. The exhibition runs from December 4 – 19, 2015 and the hours: Tue – Fri 12 – 5PM | sat 12 – 3PM.
Currently on display in the Cafe Gallery is the work of Yekatrina Kaplun. Kate’s work is in acrylic painting, mixed-media, collage, and recycled materials building texture, which she sees as crucial. “I invent, based on what I see in nature: birds’ wings, natural bridges, and generic faces,†she muses. An artist talk is be scheduled on January 7 proceeding the afternoon house concert.
