Artbeats upcoming exhibition Co-existence features work by Graham Hnatiuk. The opening reception will be on Friday March 7, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Artbeat Studios, 4th floor at 62 Albert Street.  The exhibition runs from Tuesday March 4 through to Saturday March 22.Â
Our feature artist in the Alumni Gallery is Yuri Andrejowich. Please look forward to an Artist talk with Yuri on Thursday March 13 at 4:30. Yuri’s large scale work is in chalk pastels and painting.

The University of Winnipeg Urban and Inner City Studies Program is currently inviting people, experienced with Inner-city culture and slag rewrite The Lower Depths by Maxim Gorky to reflect and expose issues faced by residents of the Winnipeg’s core – area. The reading will be on Thursday March 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Studio Central. We are pleased to open the call for submissions for Volume 5 Kaleidoscope: Wellness through Creative Expression, to be published in spring 2014. Kaleidoscope is a mental health consumer oriented/ initiated literary magazine facilitated in partnership with Artbeat Studio Inc – Studio Central and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Manitoba Division.
