Art From the Heart Winnipeg – A New Chapter with Artbeat Studio
We are excited to announce that, as of 2024, we will be taking over the reins of Art From the Heart Winnipeg, continuing the legacy of celebrating local talent and supporting low-income artists in our community. With Artbeat Studio’s dedication to promoting mental health through the arts, we are thrilled to bring a fresh perspective and renewed energy to this beloved initiative.
By taking over Art From the Heart Winnipeg, Artbeat Studio is expanding its commitment to advocating for accessible arts opportunities for the adult members of our community. Through this partnership, we aim to amplify the voices of low-income artists and promote inclusivity and diversity in the arts.
Building on the foundation laid by Art From the Heart Winnipeg since 2000, Artbeat Studio is honored to carry forward this tradition of celebrating creativity and community. We are committed to upholding the values of accessibility, empowerment, and artistic excellence that have defined this initiative over the years.

How To Get Involved
If you want to be one of the 75 artists in this year’s Show + Sale (yes, you get to keep 100% of your sales), please complete our application by
April 18th, 2025.

1) Hardcopy to any of our three sites (Artbeat in the Exchange, Studio Central or Upbeat on the 2nd Floor of Portage Place Shopping Centre)

Bring your three recent pieces of art, ready to hang, max size of 20″ x 20″, to 62 Albert Street, on the 4th floor, on
April 28th – May 2nd (11am – 5pm)
Community Involvement
To make this event successful for the artists, we are looking for partnerships and sponsorships from organizations who are looking to align their brand with a vibrant community event and gain exposure through prominent recognition in promotions and branding opportunities – in print and online.
Another way to get involved is to buy advertising space in our printed program that will be available for attendees during the event. Showcase your business and captivate a diverse audience of art enthusiasts and community members.
