Artbeat Studio is Recruiting One New Board Member
Artbeat Studio is currently seeking one passionate, community-minded individual to join our Board of Directors.

To provide studio space and meaningful connections that promote mental health through creative expression.

-Supporting people living with mental health challenges
-Using art as a powerful tool for healing and recovery
-Reducing stigma around mental health
-Building strong community connections
-Empowering individuals through creativity
We’re looking for someone who:
-Is deeply aligned with Artbeat Studio’s mission and values
-Has experience or knowledge in mental health (professional or lived experience welcomed)
-Enjoys strategic thinking and long-term planning
-Is thoughtful, engaged, and detail-oriented
-Is willing to actively support fundraising efforts to help Artbeat thrive
As a board member, you will:
-Provide strategic direction and organizational oversight
-Support governance, policies, and long-term planning
-Advocate for Artbeat Studio within the community
-Participate in fundraising initiatives and support sustainability
-Take part in ad hoc committees, as needed
Time commitment:
-Board meetings are held monthly (no meetings in July, August, or December)
-Occasional participation in ad hoc committees
-Attendance and support at Artbeat Studio events throughout the year
-Active participation in board discussions and decision-making
Board term:
1-year term, with the option for renewal
Eligibility:
-Be 18 years of age or older
-Not be an employee of Artbeat Studio
-Not have the status of bankruptcy
