Artbeat Studio participated in the Winnipeg Foundation’s 90 Hour Challenge! From April 18th until April 21st we accepted online donations toward our endowment fund supporting long-term sustainability for Artbeat Studio. Through the generous support of 84 donors, we raised $11,337. Contributing for the number of donations & amount received, the Winnipeg Foundation donated $2,789, creating a grand total of $14,126!Â
HELP ART SAVE LIVES!
In celebration of this event Artbeat is releasing a series of online videos introducing our mascot “Art.†Be sure to join us online to follow his story and meet some of our Alumni Artists as they speak about Art’s role in their lives.
Mental illness indirectly affects all Canadians at some time in our lives and directly affects 20% of our population. At Artbeat we have found that art truly can make a positive difference in our lives. Our Artist’s stories are a testimonial to the positive effects of creativity and the profound changes that can come about when a community of imaginative people come together and share their art, their experiences and their friendship.
All donations in support of this event were made online from April 18th at 6:00 am until April 21st at midnight.
