The latest installment of the Artbeat Studio Annual profiles 17 diverse artists from the studio’s 25th and 26th biannual exhibitions. Backbone: Artbeat Annual 13 features a beautiful collection of artworks including acrylics, pottery, sculpture, photography, and more.

 

Nigel Bart (Artbeat Studio founder and studio facilitator), Judith Harper (Nurse Therapist), Alison Gillmor (University of Winnipeg) and other special guests will speak at the book launch event.

 

Be sure to arrive early- the Bart House Band will perform upbeat Old World Music prior to the program.

 

Artbeat Studio is a unique community based, peer directed program that provides social supports, working art studio and gallery space, and mentorship for individuals living with mental illness for the purpose of recovery and empowerment.
