Artbeat Alumnus and staff member Logan Xiong-Powell speaks on their experience discovering painting and a creative community that has helped carry them through difficult times. They speak on the different elements to Artbeat’s programs and offerings for the mental health community at large and shares the impactful message that Art Saves Lives.
Current Artist in Residence (Group 40) and Studio Central volunteer Taylor Ancora speaks on their experience finding art through challenging times and using it as a way to express their authentic selves. Hear Taylor speak on their mental health journey and how the impact of a creative and accepting community, art supplies, and free art programing can save lives.
